What’s the Point of
Sports Performance Training?
Sport practice develops the skills of the game. Sports Performance training develops the physical qualities that help athletes express those skills. Strength, speed, power, mobility, and movement ability give athletes a larger physical foundation to draw from when competition gets faster, harder, and more demanding.
Build strength through age- and experience-appropriate resistance training that progresses from foundational movement skills to greater levels of strength, force, and power as the athlete develops.
Develop acceleration, top-end speed, deceleration, and change-of-direction ability while teaching athletes how to produce and control force at higher speeds.
Develop the range of motion and control athletes need to access strong, efficient positions during training and competition.
Athletes train alongside others who are working toward their own goals. That environment creates energy, accountability, healthy competition, and an expectation that everyone shows up ready to work.
